If you follow the lane which goes along the Red Cedar House, you
will arrive at the 'Pont des Trois Sautets' on the bank of the
Arc river which inspired Cézanne painter for his serie
of paintings called 'Les Baigneurs'.
If
you go up to the hill of Montaiguet you will see the city of Aix
en Provence and the mountain Sainte Victoire.

|
You
will be tempted to walk along the city. Its cathedral, its fontains,
its squares, its narrow streets, its market and the 'Cours Mirabeau'
edged of terraces of café will keep your here for a long
time. You will feel all along your walk, the presence discreet
but mais real of Cézanne. At the table of a café
for example...

|
After
having a game of cards, you maybe would like to tread the landscape
of the master of Aix. The mountain Sainte Victoire is very near,
you just have to decide it.
|
The
sun invites you for a swim. You have the choice : stay at the
swimming pool of the Red Cedar House or go to one of the beaches
of the 'Côte Bleue'. Cézanne will go with you again...
|
The
summer's heat is appropriate for the tasting of Provence's wines.
The many domaines of the Pays d'Aix open their cellars for you.
